Our convention attendees safety,
well being and happiness is very important to us. We have been in close contact with our hotel
management team, at the Sheraton Stamford Hotel. They assured us that they are following all
of the health and safety guidelines on top of their already high standards to
keep the hotel clean and safe for all of our guests. We also have been keeping a very close eye on
the City of Stamford, the State of Connecticut Office of Tourism and the State
of Connecticut Governor for the latest updates.
We must be proactive to ensure health of our PEZ collecting friends
traveling far and near. We want to see
everyone come back year after year as we have for the past twenty plus
years. We all look forward to this yearly event and we do not
want to disappoint anyone. Sadly, the Governor
of the State of Connecticut signed an executive order prohibiting large events
like ours. With the current status of
the virus we feel the safest thing for everyone is to cancel the Northeast PEZ
Convention for 2020 and bring it back bigger and better in 2021.
We will be in contact with those that are registered about this year’s
VERY SPECIAL “PEZ Convention Exclusive” dispensers, pins & goodies that we
have for the 2020 convention. Again,
Mary and I are heartbroken and very sad about this. We are making this very tough decision so everyone
stays healthy. We will see you in
Connecticut in 2021.
