It’s that time of year folks. Right after the first of the year people start to send in their registrations for the Northeast PEZ Convention, which this year is May 2-4, 2013 in Stamford CT.

PEZ Valentine Hearts

Here is what I can find in the stores as far as the different colors of the Valentine Hearts. The only difference I see in printing is on the white stemmed one. The "Happy Valentine's Day" lettering is lighter on the white 5.9 stem, the 7.5 stem is a brighter white.

"PEZ based art" opening at a Florida art gallery

Opening on Nov 30th-"Bring your PEZ to work Day" at Gallery 725 in Atlantic Beach, Florida is some PEZ theme art. From what I'm told there will even be a "pinata which will loosely resemble the Political Donkey which will be "smashed" during the show opening." How cool! New Issue PEZ Collectors News

Here is what a subscriber said about the new issue of PEZ News: "I just LOVE my Pez Collectors News! The year in review, pictorial style, was a stroke of genius! I went through it, checked off the ones I already have, notated the ones I don't have (yet) but want to have, and handed the entire annotated, post-it noted periodical to my husband with a "letter to Santa". NE PEZ Convention May 2013-Details posted!

The registration form and all of the details have been posted for the 15th Annual Northeast PEZ Collectors Gathering. We will again be offering bus transportation to the PEZ Visitors Center for those interested. Space is limited. Once the buses fill up, we WILL NOT be able to add more buses this year. PEZ- Cartoonist Day Aug 18th!

Do you live near Orange CT? If so, you have to check out the PEZ Visitors Center on August 18th. Check out this info from the PEZ.com web site about the event.... PEZ Candy is hosting cartoonist day at the visitor center! Professional artists and cartoonists have been invited to participate in this first of its kind event. Artists will have drawing demonstrations and will be talking about the art of cartooning. Each cartoonist has been invited to decorate two PEZ dispensers that features a character they are most know for. One of those dispensers will remain on display in the visitor center and the second will be auctioned for charity at the 2013 PEZ collector convention in Stamford, CT. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the artists involved with this project and enjoy the PEZ visitor center. Cartoonist day activities will take place from 12:00 – 4:00 are included with your regular paid admission. Adult admission - $5.00 / Kids 3- 12 $4.00 / Seniors $4.00 with each paid admission you will receive a $2.00 store credit good toward the purchase of any PEZ merchandise.

Well, the name of the auction house on the show is "Profiles in History" and they want to let PEZ collectors know that they are auctioning off some very rare PEZ items.
